Blog 5

I want to start off by saying reading and listening to this information has help a lot. It makes so much more sense to me now that I have read and seen how it is done. Judy Scharf's page really laid everything out so well it was basic and a great thing to go over. I am thankful for her putting it there. Now that I have said that I want to commend The Eagle Nest Radio. That was a fantastic! I am so impressed that this class could do this. I have never even done anything like this before and these kids are rocking out at this form of communication. Not only did they sound great but the information was stuff that I did not know and it was interesting. I was amazed.

  1. Hi Neileigh,

I am Jessica and I have been assigned to your blog this week. I really enjoyed reading your blog and getting to know you a little better. I enjoy blogging now and its fun to read others blogs. On your blog post #5 you commented that Judy Scharf's podcast collection really helped you and yes it was super informative. My group and I finished our podcast this week and these webpages were a huge help to us. I enjoyed the Eagle's Nest Radio class blog and its great to see these kids utilizing the podcasts as a way of learning. Best of luck to you on your journey to becoming a teacher.

  2. Hey Neileigh,

I think you are getting what you need out of this post, but I think you can say more. Try to think about how podcasts would be helpful in your classroom. Also ask yourself: Is this going to benefit my students in the lesson? Will this help them pass the test and help them understand the subject even more? Don't forget to check you grammar. Also, be sure to do all of the blog assignment completely.

    Keep on blogging!

    Stephen Akins

  3. Hi Neileigh!
I agree with your post especially about the Easgle Nest Radio! Those kids were amazing and I have never done a podcast until this class. I learned a lot from their podcast as well as things to use in my own podcast such as background music!
